The Roslyn High School junior varsity quiz bowl team finished sixth out of 20 teams representing both Nassau and Suffolk counties in the Regional Quiz Bowl Final Tournament held at JFK High School in Plainview on April 10. The team, comprised of juniors Nicole Lee, Alex Bloom, Zachary Perlman, and sophomore Jessica Fox, defeated teams from Kings Park, East Hampton, and Port Jefferson before being knocked out in the “Elite Eight” by a powerful Kellenberg squad that had been ranked no. 2 on Long Island heading into the tournament. The faculty advisor is Scott Segal.
