
Two men involved in robbing the Citibank on Northern Boulevard in Flower Hill at gunpoint have been arrested, police said.
Demetri Miller, 58, of Uniondale, and Curtis Williams, 24, of Freeport, have each been charged with three counts of second-degree robbery. In addition, Miller was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and Williams with three counts of first-degree robbery.Â
Police initially said a man approached a teller on Feb. 19 with a note demanding money while displaying a handgun. Authorities have not revealed how much money was taken before the robbers fled on foot.

The two men were also charged with robbing a Capital One bank in Baldwin on Feb. 22.
Police said the man who entered the business robbed it in a similar manner, displaying a handgun and demanding money from a teller before fleeing on foot. Each was charged with three counts of second-degree robbery. Miller was also charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and Williams was charged with three counts of first-degree robbery.
Miller was also charged with robbing Sterling National Bank in Merrick on Nov. 8, and faces two counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of second-degree robbery.
The two men have pleaded not guilty to the charges. Efforts to reach their lawyers were unavailing.
Recently, police charged Loreti Ferri, 49, of Hempstead, with robbing three banks in Garden City, Mineola and Merrick.
