Readers Write: Holocaust has no place in today’s political rhetoric

Are you kidding me? Another attempt to equate the Holocaust to current national events? In the Oct. 2 “The Back Road” section of Great Neck News, Andrew Malekoff launches into yet another familiar hyper-partisan tirade that begins with Nazi evil and culminates with unwarranted attacks on President Trump.

Mr. Malekoff uses rhetorically linking catchwords throughout (“gassing,” “following orders,” “ripping children,” “brownshirts” etc.) in his quest to demonize the president. He consistently presents glaring inaccuracies in his convoluted piece, while neglecting to mention the organized terror, violence, looting, and arson perpetrated by supporters of VP Biden and his radical left base in many American cities.

  1. You complain about hyperbole from the left then write “organized terror, violence, looting, and arson perpetrated by supporters of VP Biden”
Do you really not see how ridiculous you are?

  2. Roger,
Before resorting to name calling, you should read the November 7, 2017 article listed below. This article was written three years before Antifa was finally declared a terrorists organization.

“If mainstream liberals are honestly concerned about rising bigotry and threats to free speech, they shouldn’t reflexively lay all blame on Trump and the Alt-right. They should instead acknowledge the left’s complicity – from its long history of anti-Semitism to its current assault on dialogue and dissent – and their own role in enabling both. And they should pledge to do better.
EDITORS NOTE: This column originally appeared in Israel National News.”
For the record, Antifa and BLM are not only supporters of Biden, they control him, Schumer and Pelosi and what was formally the Democratic Party.

  3. You are wrong once again Roger. Antifa has NOT been declared a terrorist organization, in fact according to the FBI it is not an organization at all, it’s an ideology. I’m sorry to burst your bubble.
But when Biden wins, and he will, you will see that this country will not become a socialist cesspool. Things will get better. Decency will be restored. Maybe democrats and republicans can work together to get things done under Biden’s leadership.

  4. As you said in your most recent comment, “You are wrong once again Roger.”

Like his mentor Comey and former coworkers Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page Wray seems to live in an alternate universe where he gest his intelligence from Goebellists like CNN, MSN, NYT and the Washington Post. Antifa’s ideology is Bolshevism, while BLM’s ideology is Marxism, but BLM is starting to lean more towards Bolshevism. Wray would be better informed if he spent some time viewing the videos of the recent destructive and deadly Antifa and BLM organized riots in Democrat controlled cities.
In conclusion, to eliminate opposition, political dissent and threats to its own power, the tactics of Bolshevism include intimidation and violence which always escalates to terrorism.
