Hundred of young people treated at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, their family members and hospital staff gathered at Eisenhower Park to celebrate the second annual Les Nelkin Pediatric Cancer Survivors’ Day. The keynote speaker was Sean Swarner, a two-time cancer survivor and author of “Keep Climbing.” As a leading center of pediatric oncology, the hospital sees about 200 new cases of childhood cancer every year.
