Nassau County police arrested a Great Neck man for heroin possession and distribution on Tuesday night.
Stephen M. Hanson, 59, was arrested in front of his Canterbury Road home for allegedly selling 14 glassine envelopes of what detectives believed to be heroin on the evening of Aug. 30.
Hanson consented to a search of his home, according to police, and members of the NCPD’s Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team found an additional 168 bags of a substance they believed to be heroin inside his home.
Officers also found $7,649 in cash, according to the police report.
