PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Roslyn Estates on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 25 The Tulips, Roslyn Estates, New York 11576, for: Case #635, the Application of Joseph Moreira, M.D., owner of premises at 50 The Intervale, Roslyn Estates, NY 11576, in R-21 zoning district, also known as Section 7, Block 50, Lot 28, on Nassau County Land and Tax Map, for variances from Village Code Sections 200-33.12(F.), 200-33.13 and 200-22(I.)(i)(a), to permit alterations of existing single family home that would result in (i) a side yard of 11.3à from a proposed open frame pergola, where the minimum required side yard is 20Ã, (ii) an aggregate side yard of 44.3Ã, where the minimum required aggregate side yard is 45Ã, and (iii) a sky exposure plane/height setback ratio of 1.7à (height) to 1.0 (length), where the maximum sky exposure plane/height setback ratio is 1.0à (height) to 1.0 (length). ††At the public hearing, all persons will be given opportunity to be heard.
