Public Hearing: The Board of Trustees of the Village of Kings Point

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE The Board of Trustees of the Village of Kings Point will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, with respect to Bill 5 of 2024, which reads as follows: A local law amending the Code of the Village of Kings Point with regard to legal nonconforming preexisting building lots. Section 1. Subsection H of § 161-32, Nonconforming uses, land and structures, of chapter 161, Zoning, of the Code of the Village of Kings Point is hereby amended to read as follows: “H. A legal preexisting building lot, which does not comply with the area, frontage, width, and/or depth zoning requirements for a building lot for a singlefamily detached dwelling in the zoning district in which it is located, may be used as a legal nonconforming building lot for a single-family dwelling. Nothing in this subsection shall be deemed to permit any other deviations or variances from the zoning requirements for the zoning district in which the lot is located without a variance from the Board of Appeals.” Section 2.
