LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Williston Park will hold a public hearing at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 12, 2022, at the Village Hall, 494 Willis Avenue, Williston Park, New York 11596, to consider the adoption of Bill No. 3 of 2022, a local law amending the Municipal Code of the Incorporated Village of Williston Park, Chapter 225, Entitled ìWaterî, Section 225-11, entitled ìAlteration of Pipes Between Main and Meter; Written Permit Required.î The proposed local law reads as follows: ìSection 225-11. Alteration of pipes between main and meter; written permit required. Excepting on the pipes on the consumerÃs side of the meter, no addition or alterations whatever in or about public or private water pipes shall be made by any person until application therefor has been made on the books of the Village and a written permit given therefor. If upon excavation it is determined that the piping from the service to the house consists of lead, said piping must be replaced in its entirety and converted to copper.
