INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF SOUTH FLORAL PARK PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT sealed bids will be received by the Village Clerk of the Incorporated Village of South Floral Park on August 5, 2024, at 11 AM at the Village Hall, 383 Roquette Avenue, South Floral Park, NY 11001, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for The 2024 Village Decorative Street Name Sign Improvement Project consists of the installation of 30 street signs of the Executive Americana 12×4 Decorative Pole Mount Frame w St. John Scroll Dual 9×36 street sign with scroll, black with white lettering. There pole is a 144” Fluted 4” Extruded Pole, Base-4-inch Americana II, Finial-4-inch pineapple, 9×36 PHI Prismatic hi-intensity double- sided flat sign, 9×36 pole mount frame with scroll, and all other incidentals necessary for the satisfactory completion of the work. Vendors must provide an itemized cost for the installation of the street poles and street name signs.  The total cost of the installation should not exceed $22,000. A photographic depiction of the decorative street sign can be examined at the Office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall, 383 Roquette Avenue, South Floral Park, NY 11001 on or after July 26, 2024, between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM, Monday through Friday, except on holidays. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The contractor will be required to comply with all requirements of the State of New York, including the provisions of Labor Laws and prevailing wages.  The contractor will also be required to provide Workman’s Compensation, Disability, and Liability insurance.  The Village of South Floral Park encourages minority and women- owned enterprises to participate in the solicitation.
