North Hempstead Council Members Peter Zuckerman and Veronica Lurvey joined the Village of East Hills for their annual Green Day event on Aug. 27 at the Village of East Hills pool.
The event focuses on teaching residents about ways in which they can help the environment. Participating vendors have tables for residents informing them about environmental programs and promoting environmentally friendly services.
