Town of North Hempstead Council Member Mariann Dalimonte recently attended the 100th Anniversary Celebration for the Port Washington Garden Club. Council Member Dalimonte presented Proclamations of Recognition to some of the clubs most passionate members, including Hedwig Schapfel, Inge Castressiades, Gerry Murphy, Anna Derin, Pat Debari and Regina Goutevenier.
Photographs of the Port Washington Garden Club’s work and history will be on display throughout the month outside of the Hagedorn Room at the Port Washington Public Library.
