The library is sponsoring a Basic First Aid Supplies Drive to support Ukraine. Needed items include Band Aids, Sterile Eye Dressings; Gauze Dressings; Safety Pins; Tweezers and Scissors; Skin Rash Creams; Pain Relievers and Digital Thermometers. There is a bin at the library for your donations, and we thank you for your generosity.

PROGRAMS and EVENTS
Piano Concert featuring Marilyn McClean – This program will be both in-person and virtual. Legendary musician and composer Marilyn McClean shares some original piano pieces written during the pandemic. Marilyn will take us all through her musical journey, sharing her inspiration behind the pieces with insight and humor. Marilyn brings her enthusiasm for life and love of music to every performance. At an early age, Marilyn was a featured performer at Radio City Music Hall, which set the stage for her dynamic career as a vocalist Marilyn settled down in New Hyde Park and brought her love of music to the residents through musical theater. It is Marilyn’s infectious joie de vivre that capture’s the heart of every audience.

It’s Raining Cats & Dogs Stuffed Animal Workshop! – All Purpose Rm. 2nd Fl.
Monday, April 25 at 4:30 and at 5:10 p.m. Grades: K-3. Participants will hand stuff a 16″ toy animal and dress it. Participants will also receive a care bag and a birth certificate for their new friend. Material Fee: $7
(Please, only pick 1 session for the Stuffed Animal Workshop).
