Once again, Great Neck resident Erin Lipinsky will be “Freezin’ for a Reason” at the 15th Annual Town of North Hempstead Polar Plunge.
Last year, Lipinsky raised over $14,000, making him the top fundraiser of the event. This year, Lipinsky plans to break that record.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington.
The “Freezin’ for a Reason” polar plunge raises money for the athletes of Special Olympics New York. Lipinsky has been a longtime member of the Great Neck Spirits Basketball Team for Special Olympics.
Lipinsky’s fundraising page is up and he has already raised over $2000. To make a donation, please visit: https://events.nyso.org/goto/erinsplunge
For many years, the Great Neck Alert Fire Company has been an ardent supporter of Lipinsky.
