This past weekend, Roslyn High School’s Royal Crown Players put on three performances of Big Fish for a live audience in the school’s auditorium. The musical is based on the novel Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions by Daniel Wallace. It tells the story of traveling salesman Edward Bloom, who thrills people with his larger-than-life tales. The members of the Bloom family were played by leads Davey Fried, Saydie Grossman, Andrew Delfin, and Alexa Weinberger. The show was directed by Cyndi Feinman.

The Royal Crown Players of Roslyn High School have been in existence since 1941, providing students with the opportunity to explore many aspects, genres, and specialties of the theatrical performing arts, as well as the opportunity to perform and perfect their craft.
