A burglar entered the Blue Wave restaurant on Hillside Avenue in Williston Park and stole $2,400 on early New Year’s Day, Nassau County Police said.
A man entered through an unlocked back door of the building at approximately 3:35 a.m. Monday night before taking money from inside the Asian restaurant and fleeing the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
The man is described as 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, white sneakers, black gloves and a mask, police said.
