On Monday, April 22, 1-800-Flowers brought together people of all abilities to create beautiful floral arrangements for the Center for Developmental Disabilities Spring Fling dance. The Spring Fling dance will take place on Tuesday, April 23.
Farmers from Smile Farms, a Long Island nonprofit supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, teamed up with participants from the From Tears to Cheers vocational program to create beautiful arrangements at the 1-800-Flowers Syosset shop. Their hard work and stunning arrangements will help make the dance extra memorable.
The crew is looking forward to getting together again in May when they will prepare arrangements, boutonnieres, and corsages for the Center’s 853 School’s Prom.
