South High junior named Student of the Quarter by Nassau BOCES

South High School junior Caroline Papadelis has been named a Student of the Quarter at Nassau BOCES (Boards of Cooperative Education Services) Barry Tech.

Caroline is enrolled in the Medical Assisting program at Barry Tech. Medical Assisting is a hands-on program where students acquire skills to assist doctors in all phases of medicine.

This two-year program prepares students for a variety of career options in the medical and allied health fields.

Students of the Quarter are selected based on grades, attendance, work ethic, and preparedness. Honorees take the initiative on class projects and serve as role models for their fellow students, in both the classroom and the workplace.
