There were no reindeer, but thanks to the generous elves at Aflac, Santa Claus came to Cohen Children’s Medical Center with a bag of plush toy ducks and his guitar, singing holiday favorites and reading aloud to a crowded room of awe-struck patients and their parents.

After reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” Santa invited each child to sit on his lap and reveal their secret holiday wish-lists. Some came with their lists at the ready; others simply asked for a big, Santa hug.

When asked what Santa, himself, wishes for during this time of year, he was quick to reply, “peace on earth, and a world full of happy and healthy children.”
