Brooklyn man charged with robbing Equilibrium Firearms

A 33-year-old Brooklyn man has been charged with burglary for allegedly stealing an antique firearm from Equilibrium Firearms in Mineola on Sunday, according to the police.

After an officer on patrol noticed a broken glass window at the storefront on Willis Avenue, police said, an investigation determined that Frantzcy Dorelien was in possession of an antique firearm from the store.

Dorelien was found walking on Willis Avenue close to the store after the burglary happened shortly after 1 a.m.

Police have charged the defendant with burglary, possession of burglar tools, criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a weapon.

Dorelien was arraigned in Hempstead on Sunday and pleaded not guilty. Bond was set at $30,000 with $20,000 cash, which has not been posted.
