Mineola students share Valentine’s Day love with veterans

    Mineola schools partnered with state Assemblyman Ed Ra to help spread Valentine’s Day messages of love, hope and thanks to Long Island veterans.

    As part of the “Valentines for Veterans” initiative, learners from throughout the district created handmade Valentine’s Day cards which were collected by Assemblyman Ra and delivered to the Long Island State Veterans Home and Northport VA on Feb. 14.
