To celebrate Music in Our Schools Month, Center Street’s second and fourth graders learned about Mozart’s opera, “The Magic Flute.”

While listening to the sounds of Mozart, students imagined instruments that could grant them magic powers and illustrated adventures starring themselves saving the world through the power of music.

The students selected powers that spoke to empathy and resilience, such as feeding the hungry, making bullies kind and becoming indestructible.
