John Lewis Childs School recently hosted their own elections during the week of Election Day. On Nov. 6, sixth grade candidates for Student Council gave speeches to their peers in grades 3-6. Those students then voted for Student Council president, vice president and secretary on Nov. 9.

Madison Guitonez was elected as president, sixth grader Lilly McCarthy was elected as vice president and sixth grader Clare Catterson was elected as secretary. Student Council advisers this year are teachers Kaitlyn Butrico and Janice Hyland.
