Sewanhaka High School social studies teacher Diane Ventura has been recognized as radio station K-98.3’s Teacher of the Month for December.
Ventura has been in education for 26 years. She has been teaching at Sewanhaka High School for 23 years.
K-98.3 appreciates all the hard work and commitment that goes into being an exceptional teacher. Each month, they accept countless nominations from all across Long Island to compete for this wonderful award, which is sponsored by Teachers Federal Credit Union. Voting went on for an entire month, and the numbers spoke loud and clear. Ventura was awarded 40 passes to the Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead.
