Sewanhaka High School seventh graders in Mrs. Diane Ventura’s class participated in “Weed Out” at Centennial Gardens on March 30. The students worked from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to beautify three gardens.

The students who lent a hand included Muhammad Abdullah, Adaiway Ajith Kumar, Zara Ali-Toc, Paola Ayala-Sanchez, Emily Babalool, Jennifer Carballo-Cocar, Maya Cherubin, Danny Davis, Zende Denis, Alexis Eronmwon, Brandon Fitzpatrick, Madison Hardman Mack, Mofehintoluwa Ibitayo and Andrea Redondo Guzman.
