Sewanhaka High School junior Amal Bhalli won the National Muslim Interscholastic Tournament Fashion Design Award and was presented with a trophy in Atlanta this summer. For the contest, Amal created a lookbook of fashions fitting the theme “The Honor of Humility.” Her adviser was English teacher Kathleen Crimmins.
