Sewanhaka FBLA attends fall district meeting

Sewanhaka High School’s Future Business Leaders of America attended the Fall District Meeting at Hofstra University on Oct. 26. The event afforded students the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops, some of which included experiential learning, social media, business trends and entrepreneurship. The group was able to connect with business professionals who gave them an understanding of expectations in the “real world.” In addition, they were able to gain new skills while networking with students from high schools across Long Island.
