Sewanhaka High School business students visited “The People’s Court,” an arbitration-based reality court show that handles small claims disputes in a simulated courtroom setting, on May 15.

While there, they observed Judge Marilyn Milian dispense justice and provide legal insight on a variety of cases. The students heard several cases, including a disgruntled tenant who breached her lease contract, a used-car warranty gone wrong and an opera singer who was kicked out of her apartment without warning.
