Nassau County Comptroller Jack Schnirman presented the Comptroller’s High School Innovation Award to Carley Schor at Paul D. Schreiber High School. Born out of the annual Achievement Award, the office updated the award’s criteria, inspired by student innovation. Innovative students confront a problem or challenge facing them or their community and make a positive impact through their efforts.
