Roslyn Middle School hosts #bookface for Halloween

Students at Roslyn Middle School participated in a national #bookface competition that culminated on Halloween.

Students were invited to creatively pose behind a book so as to seamlessly extend the photo using their own faces or bodies.

“We had some incredible entries!” English Chair Jennifer Sapir said. “Congratulations to our student winner Grace Georgekutty and our faculty winner Phyllis Squicciarini!”

“Students did a fantastic job of creatively participating in this fun and spirited event!” library media specialist Phyllis Squicciarini said. “We loved seeing students searching the shelves to find their perfect #bookface!”
