Mineola students advance in National History Day competition

Seventh-grade students at Mineola Middle School participated in the National History Day Competition. Students were challenged to find topics to research, synthesize and create a project around the theme, “Communication in History.” Three projects are moving onto the New York state round of the competition.

This marks the third year of Mineola’s participation in the competition. The district is #MineolaProud of its students who moved onto the state finals and for being stewards of history!
