On Oct. 24, the Roslyn Middle School library sponsored a virtual author study with Kwame Alexander, the best-selling, Newbery medal-winning author of “The Crossover,” “The Door of No Return,” “Becoming Muhammed Ali,” “Rebound” and “The Undefeated.”
Alexander treated students to a special virtual reading, book talk and Q&A livestream event.
“It was exciting to watch students cheer along with Mr. Alexander as he shared both his work and his uplifting message of dedication and optimism,” English Chair Jennifer Sapir said.
