Roslyn High School students shine at 2023 DECA state competition

Sixty-five Roslyn High School students were among 2,600 participants who competed in the 2023 New York State DECA Competition—held at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, New York from March 8-10.

Nineteen of the Roslyn students qualified for the national competition, to be held April 22-26 in Orlando, Florida. Forty-four students earned top ten medallions in 21 categories.

DECA is a not-for-profit student career organization that prepares young adults to become innovative leaders in four areas: marketing, hospitality, financing and management. They have 250,000 members worldwide. Students compete at the regional level, then the state level to reach the national/international level of competition.
