Four RHS seniors, Alexandra Kanner, Elle Kaplan, Daphne Lin, and Blake Sohmer, presented their research at the annual Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) Conference—held in Philadelphia, PA on March 1-2.
Each student submitted long abstracts describing their research and gave poster presentations.
Both Blake and Daphne presented projects on behavioral economics. Blake focused on pricing effects; Daphne focused on the use of augmented reality to boost purchase intention.
Alexandra’s project explored how adults with ASD perceive advocacy organizations based on their logos and the composition of their governing boards.
Elle’s two-part study investigated the effects of conservative v. provocative sports uniforms on perceptions of athletes and the athletes’ perceptions of themselves.
The students’ projects were developed under the mentorship of the Coordinator of Research, Dr. Allyson Weseley.
