Roslyn High School students attend Long Island Manufacturing Fair

Eight Roslyn High School students attended the Long Island Manufacturing Fair on Oct. 11 at the Cradle of Aviation Museum.

Students had an opportunity to speak with representatives from various L.I.-based companies, ranging from aerospace engineering to wind farms to the design and production of virtual reality training devices for hospitals and surgeons.

Students used the occasion to explore internship opportunities, expand their viewpoints on how manufacturing supports industry and gain a better understanding about advancing their own knowledge base in order to be qualified for specific roles within specific industries.
