Students at North Shore High School came together to help those less fortunate during Thanksgiving this year under the direction of Christine Halloran, who organized the school-wide event. Over 35 complete baskets were donated by a number of commons groups, as well as the Life Skills students, the Buddy Club, and faculty and staff.

Baskets were collected and delivered on Nov. 16, prior to Thanksgiving.

“Each basket included all the non-perishable elements of a Thanksgiving meal,” Halloran said. “Plus, a gift card to a local grocery store was included so that the families could purchase the perishable items.”
