The North Shore men’s and women’s varsity cross-country teams both won the Nassau County Class 3 Championships by defeating the other 18 schools in the county.

This is the men’s team’s 5th consecutive county championship and the women’s team’s 13th consecutive county championship.

They will both be competing next weekend at the State Qualifier Competition at Bethpage State Park on Nov. 3. Ed Corona is the head coach for the men’s team, Neal Levy is the women’s team head coach and Donna Jean Welch is the women’s team assistant coach.
