Garden City Park School hosted its annual Read Aloud Week in early March. Although reading is celebrated every day, the week-long event specifically focused on read aloud activities and the enjoyment of stories when read aloud by others.
Classrooms of all grade levels were treated to special guest readers, including Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Morrison-Raptis, Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and New Hyde Park Memorial High School Principal Dr. Richard Faccio.
