Denton Avenue School celebrated February with activities that spread kindness and positive messages. The Human Relations Club, chaired by Mrs. DeSarbo and Mrs. Manning, created Valentine’s Day cards for residents at Northport Veterans Hospital.
They expressed their gratitude and appreciation with notes and illustrations. Students throughout the school participated in a “Links for Love” project, for which they wrote positive words and quotes on strips of paper. The pieces were assembled to form long chains that signify Denton’s unity.
