The New Hyde Park Memorial World Languages Honor Society sponsored a school-wide poster contest for Language Week 2018. Posters with the theme “Languages: Windows to the World” were submitted by students in all grades and decorated the hallways for Language Week. The Sewanhaka Central High School District congratulates the winners Carol Sung (first place), Jasmine Thanicatt (second place) and Cindy Jiang (third place). The students’ posters will go on to compete in the Long Island Language Teachers’ poster contest.
