Hillside Grade School fifth grader Annabelle Chai was recently recognized as a winner in the Young Writers Ancient Adventures Contest. Students ages 6-12 were invited to participate in this contest, which challenged young writers to pick a person, place or event from history and use their imagination to write a 100-word story.
Chai’s writing submission will be published in the book, “Ancient Adventures – A Place in Time.” This is her second consecutive year having her work published with Young Writers.
