A Mineola Middle School Robotics Club team named “Mineola Monkeys” went bananas when they scored big wins at the First LEGO League qualifiers tournament.
The Monkeys took first place in the “Innovation Project” category and second place for “Robot Performance” at the competition.
The Mineola Middle School community will be cheering for Team Monkey when they head to the First LEGO League championships on Mar 5.
