Mineola’s Meadow Drive School and Hampton Street School communities joined together for a Pajama Drive to benefit families staying at Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park while their child is treated at a local hospital.

The schools kicked off the charitable endeavor with Pajama Day on Nov. 27, where students were allowed to come to school wearing their favorite PJs.

At the conclusion of the drive, 138 pairs of new pajamas were delivered to Ronald McDonald House to help young patients and their families staying there have a good night’s sleep knowing that the community cares for them.
