Mineola learners in AP Research participated in a mock wedding where they ceremoniously tied the knot to celebrate the year-long commitment to their topic of inquiry.
The wedding, officiated by Mineola High School Principal Dr. Culella, was an opportunity for the Humanities and Science students to showcase their research question, value and methodology to the group as this marks the halfway point.
By the conclusion of the course students will have mastered the use of the College Board’s QUEST framework to explore, analyze and discuss sophisticated concepts and compose an in-depth academic research paper of 4,000-5,000 words and deliver a 15–20-minute presentation/oral defense.
