Mineola School District congratulates Jackson Avenue School fourth grader Dishita Chilan on winning the Town of North Hempstead Earth Day Butterfly Contest.
Dishita’s butterfly art was one of 25 winners selected from over 2,500 entries. The winners were recognized and their art displayed at the annual Town of North Hempstead Spring Festival at Clark Botanic Garden on May 6.
