The Mineola High School Drama Club created on-stage magic as they presented a flawless and fun production of “Xanadu” that brought audiences to their feet.
Their take on this glittery, campy and outrageously 80s musical had students showing off their singing, dancing and roller-skating skills and featured a surprise cameo by Mineola Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael Nagler, who played the role of Zeus.
The cast and crew performed four shows, starting with an invitation-only matinee preview for local senior citizens that took place on March 22.
