At the meeting on April 4, the Mineola Board of Education recognized eighteen student artists who had artwork selected for the Art Supervisor’s Association (ASA) All-County Art Exhibition.
The students range from grades K-12 and attend the district’s Meadow Drive School, Hampton Street School, Jackson Avenue School, Mineola Middle School and Mineola High School.
Mineola student artists selected for the 2023 ASA All-County Art Exhibition included Chrysanthemum Au Yeung, Olivia Bory, Wes Coleman, Kamily Da Rocha, Emily Dell Italia, Desiree Grimaldi, Emma Gutierrez, Owen Isenberg, Kine Krokan, Eunice Lee, Jaelyn Molina, Daniela Ortez, Julianna Reilly, Ava Siracusa, Emily Souza Antunes, Maria Stalzer, Olivia Tenaglia and Cameron Wee.
In addition, the BOE recognized Mineola High School senior Daniela Ortez who was the recipient of the ASA All-County Senior Scholarship Award.
