Members of Manhasset High School’s Contemporary Ensemble, led by director Hector Minaya, ventured to Carnegie Hall in mid-November to witness two world premiere performances by composers David Lang and Joe Hisaishi.
Following the concert, the student musicians were invited to the post-reception where they met and spoke to the composers and musicians.
