On May 6, Herricks High School junior Esther Min was awarded the Outstanding High School Chemistry Student Award from the Long Island American Chemical Society.
The award recognizes students who demonstrate a strong interest in the field of chemistry and who have excelled in their studies.
Additionally, Esther competed in the ACS New York State Chemistry Olympiad and advanced through multiple levels of completions to qualify for the National Chemistry Olympiad.
