To extend library learning into the classrooms and at home, New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Union Free School District librarians create monthly Choice Boards with various activities and resources.
The Choice Boards, which are released to the students and teachers on the first of every month, are often grouped into three categories: Watch, Read and Try. They feature book recommendations, videos, coding activities and more. Students can access these boards from their Chromebooks to utilize in a classroom lesson or while at home.
