Elmont Memorial High School was invited to participate in the Virtual Enterprise Business and Entrepreneurship Leadership Conference at Long Island University on Oct. 19.
The school’s Virtual Enterprise class created the company “Sweet Obsession” for the 2018-2019 school year. The company offers virtual edible cookie dough bites in assorted flavors. Sweet Obsession’s CEO Akshay Ramhit pitched the company’s concept and product line to a panel of judges during the Elevator Pitch competition. The Elmont team placed 13th out of 83 competitive schools.
